Islamic Economic Institutions and the Elimination of Poverty

This book focuses on the Islamic approach towards poverty elimination and the role played by some built-in institutions of the Islamic system in this respect. It presents both the theoretical framework and empirical evidence to highlight the role of these important institutional arrangements in poverty elimination and in reaching a socially acceptable income distribution within the Islamic Economics paradigm.
