The Religion is Advice - Abu Usamah At-Thahabi

The Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘Ad deenu naseeha, ad deenu naseeha, ad deenu naseeha’ (Sahih Muslim) – The Deen is advice, the deen is advice, the deen is advice. Thus we need to remember we must give the people good advice – if it is to an individual it must be given as an individual, if he does not listen do not expose him. The advice must have certain characteristics: keep away from envy; hatred or partisanship otherwise it will not be advice.
