Miswak, also known as sewak is nature's own toothbrush, used for centuries in Middle Eastern & African societies as a natural method for cleaning teeth. Recommended by World Health Organisation (WHO) for its dental hygiene benefits, it's a natural alternative to abrasive toothbrushes and toothpastes, providing complete oral hygiene and a great way to keep your mouth feeling fresh throughout the day.
Some of the benefits include:
How to use:
Step 1: Strip approx 10 mm of the outer bark of the miswak stick to expose the interior softer bristles.
Step 2: Chew the exposed inner bristles/membrane to soften the bristles so as it feels like a brush.
- Step 3: Brush your teeth in an upwards and downwards motion (unlike a normal toothbrush in which usually you go right to left). Allow the softer brittles go in between the teeth and gums to thoroughly clean your teeth and floss at the same time.
We recommend you use it after every meal or snack throughout the day. It only takes less then a minute but provides long term oral and general health benefits.
The following day cut off the old bristles a bit and repeat step 1.
