Islamic Jurisprudence in the Modern World

According to the author, the Law, or Sharia’h is not fixed in stone and should be re-interpreted according to the Qur’an and Sunnah for each era. The people and their societies are different that those in the time of the Holy Prophet and the Companions and Islamic Law should evolve and move while staying within the boundaries of the Islamic teaching.
