The author, Shaykh Muhammad 'Abd'Allah Bahlawi was a great scholar of hadith, tafsir and tasawwuf. His teachers included eminent scholars such as Shaykh al-Hind Mawlana Mahmud Hasan, 'Allamah Anwar Shah Kashmiri, Mawlana Ashraf 'Ali Thanawi and Mawlana Ahmad 'Ali Lahori.
