Al-Imam Malik wa Makanatu Kitabihi (al-Mu'atta)

A unique work on the life of Imam Malik ibn Anas, and the significance of his al-Mu'atta.

The book has two parts. The first deals with Imam Malik's life, his pursuit and dissemination of sacred knowledge, his characteristics and features etc. The second deals wth the virtues and significance of his al-Mu'atta.

The author, Shaykh Taqi al-Din Nadwi, was a student of Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya and Shaykh Abu 'l-Hasan 'Ali Nadwi. He was a Lecturer of Hadith at the renowned 'Dar al-Uloom Nadwatul Ulema' in Lucknow, India. He is currently a professor of Hadith at the Al Ain University in Abu Dhabi.
