This 4th year Islamic curriculum textbook deepens the student's knowledge of tawheed and tafseer, with examples given of select chapters of the Noble Qur’an. Book 4 also introduces the student to Hadith criticism, and in the units on Islamic law, inheritance and Islamic finance are the focus of study.

Experienced educator and scholar Dr. Bilal Philips has written this excellent four-year high school Islamic Studies curriculum. Part four (the fourth year), Islamic Studies Book 4 may be used in Grade 10, 11 or 12. Following on from what is taught in Books 1, 2 and 3, Book 4 denys to deepen the student’s Islamic knowledge of the concept of tawheed (Islamic monotheism). The science of tafseer (explanation and commentary) is also studied more in depth, with examples given of select chapters of the Noble Qur’an. Study questions at the end of every unit help the student to make use of his or her new knowledge and assess progress.
